Query Regarding Teltonika RUTX11 Port Access in Panther

Hello Panther Horizon Community,

I would like to ask about the Teltonika RUTX11 router used in the Panther UGV.

Could someone clarify where the router ports are exposed or accessible on the Panther robot? I am trying to understand how the Ethernet/network interfaces from the RUTX11 are routed and how users can access them externally for device connection and network configuration.

Hi @Akash_Patra,

The RUTX11 sits inside the user compartment of the Panther, and its ports are accessed directly there — open the user compartment hatch and you’ll find the router with its LAN/WAN ports, SIM slots, and antennas reachable for connecting your own devices or a laptop for configuration.

There are no Ethernet ports broken out to the external chassis of the robot. If you need a permanent external connection (e.g. for a tethered laptop or an extra sensor mounted outside), the standard approach is to run a cable from one of the RUTX11 LAN ports through the user compartment’s cable gland to the top mounting plate, where you can terminate it however suits your setup.

Hello,

Thank you for the previous clarification regarding the RUTX11 router placement inside the Panther user compartment.

However, while checking the Panther manual, I could only identify a single Ethernet port accessible after opening/removing the user compartment cover. I have attached the screenshot/image from the manual for reference.

Since the RUTX11 router normally provides 3 LAN ports and 1 WAN port, could you please clarify:

  • Where exactly are the remaining Ethernet ports located inside the Panther?

  • Are all 3 LAN ports and the WAN port physically accessible to the user?

  • Or is only one Ethernet port exposed while the others are internally connected within the robot?

If possible, please share a diagram or photo showing the exact location of all router ports inside the compartment.

Additionally, our Panther setup includes a UR3e robotic manipulator mounted on top of the robot. We have attached a picture of the box associated with the UR3e system, but currently we are unable to locate this box or identify it properly in the Panther platform/documentation.

Could you please clarify:

  • What is the exact product/model name of this box?

  • Where exactly is it mounted in the Panther setup?

  • Is it a standard UR3e controller/interface component or a custom integration module?

  • Are there any diagrams or documentation available showing its placement and connections?

Thank you.

Hi Akash_Patra

RUTX11 is configured so that all 4 ports including WAN are LAN ports. One of the RUTX11 ports is used to be connected to the Robot via USI Ethernet port. The Router is located inside the User Compartment so that all outlets are available to the user.

This is a custom Husarion part which is based on CCbox from UR and it is called MAN01. It is located inside the User Compartment of the Panther. Electrically it os not changed from the CCbox (UR) but it is made to fit inside our Robot.

If you have any further questions you can e-mail me on: support@husarion.com
Please provide SN number of your robot
