I bought a Rosbot 2 few month back. For one of my project i need buy another bot. But I have question regarding Compatibility issue between rosbot 2 and rosbot 2 pro as the architecture of these 2 bots are different. I want to use rosbot 2 as master and rosbot 2 pro as slave in network, will that work properly, or what type issues can i face in such case?
If two computers are connected via network, ROS is immune to differences in CPU architectures. ROS messages are standardized and as long as both devices are connected to the same network everything should work fine.
The pro version, however, is more powerful, so it might handle running as muster better. But since working as a master does not require a lot of computational power, regular ROSbot 2.0 should handle that task.
