I have an Alienware laptop which doesn’t have an ethernet port. I have an USB A to USB C cable. I tried connecting the ROSbot end with USB A and connected the USB C end to the Alienware laptop. But the network is not showing up in the laptop. I need to confirm if I need to connect the laptop and the bot with the ethernet cable or connecting with USB A to USB C is fine?

By default, network connection will not work via the USB interface. For this you need custom software which is not supported by us.
We suggest using a USB connector with an Ethernet adapter (if there is no Ethernet input on the laptop, use two USB-Ethernet adapters).
