Hi, is there any update as to when ROS 2 Lyrical Luth might be supported?

Yes, support for ROS 2 Lyrical Luth is planned, but it’s not something we expect to happen in the near future. Most likely, support will be added sometime next year.

Thanks. You don’t happen to have any idea of whether that might be the beginning, middle, or end of next year do you?

We expect it to be ready by mid-year at the latest. Certainly, at the beginning of the year some of the packages will be migrated. The process is certainly lengthy, so some packages may be supported faster than the entire Husarion ecosystem.

It looks pretty straight forward for the most part. Most of the work is compatible with Jazzy and can be done on the current branch. I’ve sent half a dozen PRs linked to from the ticket below to start on that. I think almost everything but updating the dependencies for Gazebo could be done on the current branch
