ROSbot 2.0 - Repositioning Lidar & Camera

Hi everyone,

We are planning to extend our ROSbot 2.0 with an additional piece of hardware.
To be able to do that, we decided that we need to raise the Lidar and lower the Camera on the device.

I was wondering, is such change in hardware positioning possible, and what change in hardware is possible in general?

Hello Erinc,

ROSbot is a development platform, you can modify hardware accordingly to your requirements.
When modifying hardware, you also need to apply according changes in software. You will need to adjust tf_frames to publish correct sensor positions.
