ROSBot3 (docker humble) Microros issue

Hello,

This was noted in a previous thread of mine, but I thought I might split this out into a separate topic.

We are continuing to experience issues with having to re-flash the microros firmware on our ROSBot 3 robots (to be compatible with humble via docker) on a frequent basis. On occasion, when attempting to launch microros, the container will “hang” and not boot the controller package. This only solution is to re-flash the firmware, which is an annoying process with our class of students as they are often worried about this process.

The previous thread noted this was a known issue, fixed in the ROSBotXL. Is there a fix for the ROSBot 3? I’m currently using the docker image husarion/rosbot:humble-0.14.0-20250131.

Any better solution would be appreciated.

Thank you.
