[Solved] 16.6V Lipo battery with the CORE2-ROS board

Hi guys,

We would like to know if we can use a four-cell 10.000mAh LiPo battery with the CORE2 - ROS board coupled with a Raspberry Pi 3b. The docs state that the maximum input voltage is 16V, and our battery is 16.6V at full capacity. Using this power supply is possible with the board?

Hi,

the 16V is an absolute maximum, and it is recommended to not exceed 15V. You could safely use this battery only when it is almost discharged.
Please try to find another power source.
