[Solved] Error installation Ubuntu 18.04

Dear,

I’m trying to install Ubuntu 18.04 on my Rosbot pro.

But at the end of the installation of ubuntu I get an error. See below.

When starting up I get a grub terminal. What do I have to do. I’m a bit stuck.
It is not nmy first time I’m working/installing Ubuntu. But knowledge of grub is limited.

Hi Jeremy,

Sorry for inconvenience. It’s not your fault, one point in our manual is missing. During the installation robot have to be connected to internet. It will resolve problem with GRUB installation.

I will fix it in our documentation soon.

Hi Hubert,

I tried the installation of 18.04 but there isn’t a possibility to connect to the WIFI while installing. So still an error

I then connected over USB/Ethernet to my network and thus internet. And at the beginning of the installation, I directly saw that region(time) was correct and while installing the grub stuff was downloaded. Success!

Hi J_L,

I’m glad you were able to successfully complete the installation. We already update our image and connection to the internet is no longer required during installation.
