Wireless charging failure after 2–3 cycles with TR-302 Edge docking station

Dear Husarion Community,

We are having issues with wireless charging (using the TR-302 Edge) of our Husarion over long-term operation.

What we intend: Run a long-term task consisting of repeated inspections. Every 60 minutes, Husarion receives a command to move to six different positions and perform thermal inspections. These six inspections take 15 minutes in total, after which it returns to the docking station (TR-302 Edge). Thus, the camera operates for 15 minutes on battery, and 45 minutes are spent charging at the docking station.

What is happening: In our test runs, Husarion does charge at the docking station initially. However, after a couple of iterations (2–3), it no longer charges there. Eventually, Husarion’s battery runs out and it powers down.

What we request: Has anyone attempted long-term running of the Husarion with wireless charging, and either had no problems or faced a similar issue? If the latter, have you contacted Wibotic to see whether they offer a solution for this?

Hi,

We encourage you to contact our support team at support@husarion.com Our team will work with you to diagnose the issue and identify its root cause.

When reaching out, please include your device’s serial number, any available diagnostic or debug data (such as error notifications), and a detailed description of the robot’s history. Specifically, let us know whether the functionality has ever worked reliably or if the issue has been present from the beginning.

Regards, Husarion Team
